Extremism is dominating our politics today from both the left and the right. We know this because our country has become more polarized over time and our elected leaders have refused to make bipartisanship their number one priority. Instead, they give into sharp partisan divisions and ultimately refuse to work together.
This hurts Americans who need leaders who are willing to ignore the rising polarization and compromise to find meaningful solutions that will help all of the country, not just Republicans or Democrats.
We have joined to stand up for our country and honor our democracy by supporting commonsense leaders who deliver results. This is a coalition built for any Republican, Democrat, or independent who wants to better our political system.
The Moderate Party Independent Fund supports moderate candidates from both parties who share our values of common sense, compromise, and dedication to democracy.
Commonsense leaders know we can support public safety, whether protecting our homes from criminals or our Capitol from insurrectionists. We can enforce immigration laws but also welcome legal immigrants. We can be proud capitalists but believe it is wrong to let big corporations like Amazon get away with paying no corporate income tax.
Americans have very real concerns about the economy, inflation, crime, and a host of other issues. And in our divided times we must elect more candidates who are willing to work across the aisle to find solutions that help all Americans. Leaders who are willing to vote against their party line to get things done is exactly what we need.
What happened on January 6, 2021 should be a reminder to all of us about the importance of respecting our democratic system. The sowing of distrust in our electoral system is incredibly harmful to our democracy and any candidate or election official who refuses to respect that should not serve in public office.
